Coffey County Library would like to bring our community together again by offering Coffey County Reads Together.  We are encouraging everyone in the county to read and talk about the same book. During Coffey County Reads Together we will have print and digital copies of the book Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann available for checkout.

This story is about members of the Osage Nation in Oklahoma and the suspicious circumstances as they began to die.  A team, including a Native American agent, was handpicked to unravel the mystery.  The book exposes those who were responsible for the Osage murders in one of history’s most ruthless and shocking crimes.  It also covers the birth of the FBI.  Killers of the Flower Moon is about life, death, and will open the door to many necessary conversations.

Read the story and then visit any of our library branches for a Coffey County Reads Together book discussion, event, or display.  You’ll have the chance to experience the book for yourself, and also share the story from the perspective of a friend or stranger in your community.  Let’s again enjoy the experience of a shared story!
